Jack, un adolescente nacido en la Tierra, tiene el funebre presentimiento de que algo no va bien. Sin embargo, no se imagina el cambio que dara su vida cuando Ilegue a casa. Junto a Victoria, una chica a la que todavia no conoce, iniciara una batalla de proporciones exorbitantes. Su destino quedara inexorablemente unido al Resistencia, un pequeno grupo que lucha por la libertad de un mundo Ilamado Idhun. Acompana a Jack y Victoria en la aventura mas grande de sus vidas: la lucha por salvar a los idhunitas del gobierno de Ashran el Nigromante y los sheks, las temibles serpientes aladas.
Jack, an Earth-born teenager, has a funereal feeling that something is wrong. However, he cannot imagine the change his life will take when he gets home. Together with Victoria, a girl he does not know yet, he will start a battle of exorbitant proportions. Their fate will be inexorably linked to the Resistance, a small group fighting for the freedom of a world called Idhun.
