Silver and bismuth-bearing galena from Leadville
(Book)
The Greenback ore body, east of Leadville, is described, together with several unusual minerals, their associations, and microchemical reactions. One lead mineral was found to have a high proportion of bismuth and silver, an x-ray pattern resembling galena, and is probably a solid solution of Ag2S.Bi2S3 in galena.
