At first Lady Allegra Nesbitt thought it was just another of her father's jokes. He was a notorious prankster, but this time, he had gone too far, taking her to London with the ridiculous pretext of finding her a husband. Their only invitation came from neighbor Armand Gauthier, a mystery man with a well-hidden past.
